HAK Sideshift
The HAK Sideshift is an advanced sideshift system that provides automatic precision during mechanical operations such as hoeing. The system consists of a hydraulic 3-point buck placed between the tractor and the hoe. Using two hydraulic cylinders, the implement can shift up to 10 cm to the left and right, always staying exactly between crop rows – without manual correction. The lateral movement is controlled by a camera system that tracks the crop in real time. The HAK camera, developed in cooperation with Tillett & Hague Technology, provides highly accurate alignment based on visual recognition. This allows the hoe to work along the crop with up to 2 centimeters of accuracy, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal crop damage.

The HAK Sideshift is lightweight, but at the same time sturdy and robustly built. It is optimally matched to HAK’s hoeing machines, ensuring stable operation with minimal soil compaction. This benefits the soil structure and promotes healthy crop growth. Hillett & Hague camera techniek
The HAK ICam, developed in collaboration with British technology company Tillett & Hague, uses advanced label recognition to automatically detect crop rows based on shape and color. This eliminates the need for tramlines or GPS correction. The camera detects in real-time where the crop is located and transmits that information to the hydraulic system, which corrects immediately. This ensures high precision even with varying seeding patterns or young crops. The system allows for faster and more efficient work while maintaining high accuracy and minimal operator effort.

In plaats van traditionele bandbreedtes, maakt het systeem gebruik van kleurherkenning, wat de nauwkeurigheid en betrouwbaarheid vergroot. De camera observeert 3 tot 5 rijen gewas, wat het mogelijk maakt om met een precisie van 2 cm langs het gewas te schoffelen — vaak nauwkeuriger dan GPS. De ICam biedt flexibele bediening, waarbij snel gewisseld kan worden tussen verschillende programma’s en toepassingen, en is geschikt voor verschillende gewassen. De live beeldweergave op de console geeft de gebruiker direct zicht op het werkgebied, inclusief visualisaties van gewasrijen, planten en onkruid. Het systeem combineert automatische detectie en sturing met de mogelijkheid voor handmatige aanpassingen, zodat het altijd de juiste balans biedt tussen precisie, efficiëntie en controle.
