Hoeing systems

The HAK SH Series parallel linkage can be equipped with various hoeing systems, such as a single hoe knife, one hoe knife with leaf protection discs, three hoe knives, one hoe knife with two half knives, one hoe knife with two mono hoe knives, or vibrating hoe knives.

Hoeing Knives

With more than 100 years of experience, HAK produces hoe knifes made of wear-resistant steel with a sharp cutting angle of 60°. The knife has a forged steel handle. With HAK hoe knives, you remove weeds without backbreaking, keeping the soil flat. The hoe knives are available directly from stock in sizes from 8 cm to 75 cm, with a 30 x 10 mm handle. We can also deliver other handle sizes quickly. In most cases, one hoe blade is perfectly adequate. For heavy soil, we recommend an arrangement with three knives because three smaller hoe knives per row penetrate the soil more easily.

Vibrating hoe set

The vibrating hoe set consists of a holder with spring-loaded tine, equipped with a hoe knife treated with a wear-resistant tungsten layer. This makes the vibrating hoe set extremely suitable for hoeing heavy soil types. When the hoe encounters resistance, the tine bends backwards, causing the hoe to sting and stay well in the ground.

Half hoe knife or right-angle hoe
For precise hoeing close to the crop row, the half hoe knife is ideal. The continuous cutting edge prevents soil break-up. In addition, the knife is tiltable and adjustable in width via a simple attachment.

Mono knive
The HAK mono knife is ideal for precise hoeing close to the crop row. Thanks to the centrally positioned handle, the left knife can also be used on the right and the right knife on the left. This allows you to choose between ridging or trenching. In combination with the infinitely variable width adjustment, you get optimal efficiency from your HAK hoeing machine.

Leaf protector discs for flat-field cultivation.

With the new HAK leaf protection discs, you can hoe even closer to the crop without endangering your crop. Even with a steering error, the disc only damages the leaves, giving your crops optimum protection. Thanks to well-adjustable ball bearings and a smart adjustment, you can easily adjust the disc to the correct position with one bolt. The quick clamp allows you to manually mount the discs to the beam, allowing you to quickly change row spacing without tools. This ensures that the running discs are always 100% perpendicular to the beam, further increasing accuracy.
